In Stephen King's masterful book, "On Writing," he recommends that to be a writer, you have to read voluminous amounts and you also have to write. Every day. Sit down and write. It's like a muscle memory that improves the more you use it. Now that I've been writing creatively each day, I crave that moment when I excuse myself to my home office, shut the door (cats included), and whisk myself away to a faraway time and place in my imagination. During the pandemic, what better hobby could there be than escaping without leaving the house?
Do you write daily?
