Finding just the right cover for my first novel has been a bit of a journey. Getting it "just so" meant looking at multiple versions before deciding on a final. For me, I wanted to be respectful to the subject matter of remembrance and to the storykeeper who shared his treasured family story with me. I also wanted it to convey the genre upon first glance. And I needed it to be readable from a thumbprint for online viewing. It was a lot of requirements (especially for someone who doesn't know much about design!).
